2014 in review

The WordPress.com stats helper monkeys prepared a 2014 annual report for this blog.

Here’s an excerpt:

A San Francisco cable car holds 60 people. This blog was viewed about 570 times in 2014. If it were a cable car, it would take about 10 trips to carry that many people.

  1. Fair enough, I was put off by the spiritual aspect for a long time too. Anything by Marsha Linehan is golden as it’s very practical. It can’t hurt to plant the seed of mindfulness – she will become familiar with the concept in dbt therapy.

  2. Than you so much, she’s not into meditating or spiritual, so those books won’t be too – out there for her? Yes, I hate you don’t leave me, is more for me. Trying to get her something for self help that others have read and have been happy with. Thank you again, really appreciate it. x

  3. Sure hon; Some I’d reccommend are “I hate you, don’t leave me”, although that’s probably better for you to read than for her, as well as “The Buddha and the Borderline:My Recovery from Borderline Personality Disorder through Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Buddhism, and Online Dating”, and anything by Thich Nhat Hanh or Jon Kabat-Zinn. They’re very readable and very positive.

      1. I’m wondering if you can help me? Can you recommend any good skill based books -easy to read for my daughter? My ex is now not paying for her DBT therapy and it’s scaring me that she has nothing to help her.
