I have been hit with a major depressive episode and have been mostly hiding in my room for about a week now. When it gets bad like this, sometimes the scariest thing in the world can be my own thoughts. Then again, when you can conquer the fear in your own mind, what is there really left to be afraid of?

Things are not always what they seem; perspective plays a bigger role than you would think in determining whether a situation or thing should be labelled as ‘good’ or ‘bad.’
Sometimes we get so caught up in labelling that we miss the subtle nuances that can’t be named, the grey areas in between – the fact that not everything and everyone can be pigeonholed neatly into precise little boxes.
In fact, we most often miss that seemingly opposing truths can simultaneously exist; duality.
Today, I’m going to keep an open mind. Will you give it a try?
